Atwood Collins legal papers
This collection consists of legal files kept by Mr. Collins during the course of his service as legal counsel to the University. Of particular interest are cases dealing with issues of freedom of speech or civil rights during the 1950s and 1960s. Files pertaining to property and land use will be of continuing interest to the University community.
Atwood Collins United Nations collection
The collection consists of the papers from Atwood Collins work pertaining to the United Nations Conference on International Organization held in San Francisco, CA in 1945.

This series primarily contains transcripts and recordings of oral histories of the University of Hartford. Most transcripts correspond to a recording, but not all. The oral histories were collected through a series of interviews conducted by Edward C. Lavelle (1967), Bice Clemow (1977), Alice Cooke Brown (1960), Helen Loy (1977), and John Balmer (1966). The interviewees were founders of the university. The series also includes a couple of short films.
