16-inch Transcription Discs, 1945-1961, undated
Scope and Contents
The Phonograph Recordings series, makes up the majority of the collection and consists of various phonograph records retained by the Hartt School. These recorded performances are often either performed, conducted, and/or composed by Hartt faculty, students, and alumni. However, in some rare cases, no known relationship exists between the performers, conductors, or composers and the Hartt School. This series includes the original record covers (when available), but does not include ephemera that was found with some of the recordings. These items are located in the Ephemera series.
