University of Hartford early history collection
Scope and Contents
This collection documents the early history of the University of Hartford, beginning with the original talks held by the founders. The collection contains original legal documents, blueprints, correspondence, memos, receipts, and photographs. There are also several written and oral histories written about the founding from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.

Conditions Governing Access
The physical collection is open to all researchers. However, one file is currently restricted. Some digital copies of materials have an IP embargo in place. Any patron can access these restricted digital materials while on the University of Hartford campus using a device connected to the University’s internet. Abstract

The collection has been arranged into six series: I. Early university records, II. Histories, III. Founders, IV. Recordings and transcripts, V. Photographs, and VI. Duplicates.
