Alan Stafford Wilson was the president of Hillyer College in 1957 when Hillyer merged with the Hartford Art School and the Hartt School of Music to form the University of Hartford. After the merger he became the head of the University’s Arts & Sciences program. This collection contains his papers from his early years in the Midwest until his death in 1977.
